Independence Day Parade
St. Martin's-in-the-Field Episcopal school proudly participated in the annual 4th of July Parade, sponsored by the chamber of commerce. St. Martin's parents, students, andfriends were singing songs and smiling as they moved along the parade route. There was a great sense of community and patriotism among all of the parade participants and the crowd.
Students from 1st grade through 8th grade rode on the float and also marched along the float. The parade ended at Sunrise Assisted Living where the children sang one final song to the audience.
Up and coming 2nd and 3rd grade students decorated the float (pickup truck) with their hands prints in the colors red, white, and blue. They painted stripes and stars and even the earth with the motto "Be Green".
