GOLF TOURNAMENT—KATIE FRITZ SCHOLARSHIP FUND
The 9th Annual Golf Tournament to benefit the Katie Fritz Scholarship Fund is scheduled for Thursday, October 15th at Shotgun Start Compass Pointe Golf Courses. This fun event has an important purpose—to fund need-based scholarships to students who attend St. Martin’s-in-the-Field. During the 2008-2009 school year, the fund helped 28 children with tuition assistance. More than $136,000 was distributed to students in Early Education, Elementary, and Middle School.
The Katie Fritz Scholarship Fund celebrates the life of Katie Fritz, a young parishioner who died suddenly at the age of 15. Katie’s mother, Carol, began the scholarship fund as a way to honor her daughter’s life by providing financial assistance to qualifying families who want their children to have the benefit of a St. Martin’s-in-the-Field education.
Your tournament fee includes breakfast, beverages, luncheon, a $10,000 Hole-in-One contest, a $2,500 putting contest, great challenge prizes, and more. A portion of your tournament fee is tax-deductible. The fee is $115/golfer; corporate packages start at $800. There are opportunities for T-signs and advertising.
